Oil lanterns, waves, stars, A.I singulairty what?

Last night, I sat on the beach with a friend drinking wine under the light of a couple of oil lanterns, star gazing while wondering the big questions: When are those aliens finally coming to visit? And if we’ve only got a decade before the AI singularity turns the world upside down and inside out, how should I spend these final years of relative peace? Well, I can’t speak for anyone else but I want to continue a simple life, with water, with mountains, with some motorcycle adventures, with a camera and tripod strapped to my back, with good friends, a few bottles of red wine, with something to look forward to the following day.
